In 2012 David won 'Chef of the Year' for the second year running in the Hampshire Food & Drink Awards. Verveine also won 'Best Local Menu' & 'Best Customer Service'. In 2011, Verveine were voted 'Hampshire's Best Restaurant', and recognised as 'Hampshire's Best Fish Restaurant' by Trip Advisor.
